CAN Art Fair Ibiza 2025 — the island’s contemporary moment

Each summer the CAN Art Fair establishes itself as Ibiza's defining cultural week — for collectors, contemporary art enthusiasts, and travellers seeking experiences beyond the beach.

What it is

An exhibition of contemporary art held in Eivissa each summer, the CAN Art Fair brings together international galleries and emerging artists for a few intense days. The format is intimate by design — a single venue, a curated selection, the right people in the same room at the same time.

It's the kind of fair where the conversations matter as much as the works on the walls.

The 2025 highlights

This year's edition emphasises Mediterranean voices, with a notable presence of Spanish, Italian and North African galleries. A special program is dedicated to women artists working between Ibiza and the wider Balearic Islands.

Expect mid-career names alongside the next generation. Photography, painting, sculpture, a small but thoughtful video selection. A dedicated room for editions and prints — a good entry point for first-time collectors.

The collateral programme

Beyond the fair itself, the week unfolds at private venues — gallery breakfasts, vernissages at Soleille Gallery in Santa Gertrudis, late-night artist conversations at Pikes. The talks are off the record. The conversations are the point.

How to do it well

The fair is intimate — a morning visit is enough. The evenings are where the week happens. Invitations, dinners, the chance to meet the gallerists in their own time. We can place you on a few of the right lists, and arrange the dinners that follow.

Beyond the week

Soleille Gallery, founded by Franco-Mexican architect Gabriela Puig, has become the year-round anchor of contemporary art on the island. Worth a slow afternoon any week of summer.
