Six Senses Ibiza — wellness perfected
The Cala Xarraca property has reached its full expression. New spa, expanded farm-to-table program, and a lineup of guest practitioners that turns each week into a retreat in its own right. The villa-style suites with private pools remain the most coveted in the north.
Mondrian & Hyde, Cala Llonga
The double opening that took the design world by surprise — two SH Hotels brands sharing one breathtaking cove. Mondrian for the social spirit, Hyde for the slower, more sensual reading. Together, they've quietly reset the standard for what a contemporary Ibiza hotel can be.
The new tables
Several openings to note. A new Mediterranean table at Cala Tarida, by an alumnus of Sa Capilla. A small-plates restaurant in Santa Gertrudis that doesn't take walk-ins. A re-imagined chiringuito on the road to Cap des Falcó that already has the right people in the right corners.
We won't name them all here — some still depend on the moment, and some are only worth a visit on the right night with the right group.
The clubs
[UNVRS] (formerly Privilege) is now confirmed as the major novelty of the Ibiza scene, with Carl Cox holding a weekly residency all summer. Production levels rival anything in the world. Hï Ibiza consolidates its position as the world's best club — multi-room, XL line-ups, a sound that ruins all others. Pikes remains itself: a beautifully unhinged exception that nobody can quite copy.
Beach clubs to watch
A new generation of beach clubs has emerged — quieter, design-led, less brand-noisy. The pendulum has swung away from the bottle-service mega-club and toward the long-lunch, slow-music model. We curate which one fits which group.
